Monster Gen2? - SuperCircuit Drag Extractor

Who says Proton Gen2 is boring? Look at this drag prepared Proton Gen2.



Many have involved and contributed to the development and tuning of this car. SuperCircuit is one of them.

The SuperCircuit drag spec. 4-1 extractor. Made of grade 304 stainless steel, mandrel bent piping, then TIG welded to perfection.

The primary piping of the extractor determines the torque as well as the peak power of the engine, and of course, the pipe size is important too! We have used 1 3/4" primary, tuned length piping for this natural aspirated engine; then feeds into a 2 1/2" collector.


There is still room to accommodate the 4-1 collector and four parallel running piping underneath the engine block, despite the lowered chassis.

So, the output is impressive.... especially for a natural aspirated Proton Gen2.

SuperCircuit Exhaust Resonators

Introducing the SuperCircuit exhaust resonator, a.k.a. centre bullet, for performance exhaust system.

These resonators, made of high grade 304 stainless steel are designed for high performance cars; able to withstand high exhaust flow and built for long lasting performance e.g. Turbo or tuned up engines.

They come in various length and pipe sizes for a wide range of requirements and car models; ranging from 12"-16" in length to 2.0" -2.5" of inner diameter.



There is also a special designed spiral cored, a.k.a Louvered core, resonator from SuperCircuit. This kind of resonator provides higher back pressure which is required especially for auto transmission cars.

The spiral cored resonators also significantly reduce the exhaust noise and humming sound level better than the normal perforated resonators.

How to Replace The Caldina GT4 Turbo Manifold?

The stock turbo on the Toyota Cladina GT4 is joined to the turbo manifold by sharing one cast iron housing. To replace the turbo manifold to an aftermarket one, one must separate the turbo from the original cast iron manifold. The simplest way is to send the car to a professional workshop. But not simply just any experienced workshop, the workshop or exhaust shop must have the right turbo manifold for replacement.

At SUPERCIRCUIT Exhaust Pro Shop, we have the right turbo manifold and the know-how to replace the stock standard Caldina GT4 turbo manifold to the aftermarket stainless steel one. Below are some of the scene shots during the work.

The right choice, SUPERCIRCUIT 3.0mm guage thickness stainless steel, CNC machined head flange. Extra turbo flange is included for ease of work.


Remove the intercooler, remove the stock turbo manifold, which is connected to the turbo housing, from the vehicle.

Separate the stock turbo out of the original turbo manifold, cutting of the cast iron piping between the stock turbo manifold and the turbo. Remember to leave about 1.0" of extra piping at the inlet side of the stock turbo, this extra length is required for the connection of the provided turbo flange to the turbo later.

After cutting of the stock turbo from the manifold, install the turbo back in position. Put on the SUPERCIRCUIT turbo manifold and measure the correct location to weld the provided turbo flange to the stock turbo. Cut of the extra piping to fit if that is too long.

Spot weld or mark the position of the turbo flange to the turbo. Take out the turbo with the measured positon, weld securely the turbo flange to the stock turbo.

Putting everything back in place. Now it is time to start and the engine and check for leaking or misfitting before driving off SUPERCIRCUIT Exhaust Pro Shop.....

Mandrel Bent Exhaust Piping

SuperCircuit special made and tune sized exhaust piping for specific car models.

MANDREL BENT is a special bending process which requires comparatively big mandrel bending machine (easily exceeding the size of a normal van). Due to the cost and space it occupies, no exhaust shop so far in Klang Valley uses this kind of bending machine yet.

The pre-bent piping has the benifits below:

MANDREL BENT piping has consistent inner diameter along the whole exhaust system. No creases or smaller bends at elbows. Thus free up the exhaust flow by about 35%. Higher efficiency means smoother engine revs. and better fuel economy.

ONE PIECE construction means lesser welding joints, thus less imperfection caused by improper welding or bad welding workmanship.

Mandrel bent pipings are made of high grade stainless steel, guarantee CORROSION RESISTANT and minimise CO2 built up on the inner surface. Thus durable and long lasting performance is ensured.

BMW 335i Cat Back Exhaust Customization

We have received an order to customise the cat back exhaust of this BMW 335i twin turbo machine here at SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop.



We've decided to use 2.5" mandrel bent piping, twin parallel exhaust flow formation for it.

As for the rear muffler, we've used two S-flow type custom made stainless steel boxes. These muffler boxes are custom made according to the available space under the chassis.

Custom made stainless steel muffler box is available at SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop. Made to order, normally takes 3-4 working days.

For an extra touch of aestheticity, quad titanium exhaust tips are used....
