BMW G30 530i Downpipe (B48 Engine)

When it comes to turbo downpipe collections, one has to pay us a visit to the SUPERCIRCUIT Exhaust Pro Shop for its large range of turbo downpipes on display, from the European marques to JDM models, from locally produced national cars to high performance imports.

Here is the latest BMW G30 530i with the B48 enigne that is installed with the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe.




In the below picture, the 7th generation BMW G30 530i with the 2.0L turbo charged 4-cylinder mill code named B48B20.

The turbo outlet is located behind the engine and can be accessed via the undercarriage shown in the pictures below.


The factory stock downpipe is clamped onto the turbo outlet at the top and a slip-joint to connect it to the rest of the exhaust system at the bottom as shown in the picture below.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is made of larger bore grade 304 stainless steel mandrel bent pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges and it is designed for direct bolt-on application. No mod or weld is required during the installation, simply a direct swap.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is clamped onto the BMW G30 530i turbo outlet at the front and connected to the rest of the exhaust system via a slip-joint at the rear as shown in the pictures below.





This catless downpipe is less restrictive compared to the factory stock one, it promotes better exhaust flow, faster turbo spooling and lesser turbo lag, hence a lot higher horsepower and torque can be achieved. It can also installed without having the ecu tuned, just add an 'O2 sensor' defouler to avoid the CEL will do the trick.

Mercedes-AMG A 45 Downpipe

Here is one high performance turbo engine that was installed with the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe - the world's most powerful serial-produced 4-cylinder passenger car, the Mercedes-AMG A45.



The manufacturer claims that the A45 is the the most powerful series-produced 4-cylinder passenger car engine in the world with the twin-scrolled turbo engine (code named M133 20 DE AL) which is capable of 381hp and 475Nm of torque.


This is how the factory stock downpipe on the Mercedes-AMG A 45 looks like under the heat shield.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is installed to the Mercedes-AMG A 45 turbo outlet via the clamp originally supplied by the manufacturer (SEE BELOW). This is made possible becuase the Downpipe's flange is made from high precision CNC machined stainless steel material for direct clamp on application.



The SUPERCIRCUIT Mercedes-AMG A 45 Downpipe is designed to clamp-on straight and replacing the factory stock downpipe with a catless one for a lot less flow restriction, high exhaust flow efficiency and faster turbo spooling.


At the other end of the SUPERCIRCUIT Donwpipe, the CNC machined stainless steel flange is also designed to clamp onto the factory stock Mercedes-AMG A 45's factory stock catback exhaust system as shown in the pictures below. All sensors are to be plugged back in place, no further mod is required during the installation.

Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 Downpipe

SUPERCIRCUIT has yet installed another in-house developed catless downpipe to the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45's 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine. More images below.



This Mercedes-AMG CLA45's 2.0L engine (code name M 133 DE 20 AL), is claimed by the manufacturer to be able to produce 355hp (360 PS) and 450 Nm (332 lbft) of torque at peak, is installed with the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe below.




The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe vs. the stock Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 downpipe which has a huge catalytic converter. The SUPERCIRCUIT Dowpipe is made of grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and is full TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges.



The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is designed for direct bolt-on application, no mod is required during the installation. It is 100% compatible with the Mercedes-AMG CLA45 stock turbo outlet and the original heat shield can be installed back in location (see pictures below). 




At the other end of the SUPERCIRCUIT Donwpipe, the CNC machined stainless steel flange is also designed to clamp onto the factory stock CLA45's catback exhaust system. All sensors are to be plugged back in place, no further mod is required.





This catless downpipe promotes better exhaust flow and is ideal for ecu remapping/ tuning needs.

Mercedes Benz A250 (W176) Downpipe

After installing the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe to the Mercedes Benz CLA250 last week. Here is another Mercedes benz with the same engine (M270) installed the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe but it is the Mercedes Benz A250 (W176) this round.


In the picture below, the comparison between the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe in stainless steel vs. the Mercedes Benz A250 (W176) Downpipe which has a huge catalytic converter.


The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is installed to the Mercedes Benz A250's M270 engine shown in the pictures below.


The stainless steel flanges are laser cut and CNC machined for flawless fitment on the Mercedes Benz A250's turbo outlet as show in the picture here. 

All sensors are to be plugged back in positions for accurate readings on the Mercedes Benz A250.

For ease of installation, the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is made up of two sections and is connected with an exhaust clamp supplied with it, as shown in the picture below.



The mandrel bent pipe is going over the front crossmember and meets up with the original catback exhaust system of the Mercedes Benz A250. 


At the other end of the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe, it is direct clamped onto the Mercedes Benz A250's original catback exhaust system as show in the pictures below. No further mod is required.




The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is made with larger bore grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges for direct bolt-on application and is 100% compatible with the Mercedes Benz A250's original catback exhaust system as show in the picture above. No further mod is required during the installation of the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe.

Mercedes Benz CLA250 Downpipe

SUPERCIRCUIT has developed a very complete range of turbo downpipes for European marques, Japan Domestic Models to the local national car models.

A good and efficient turbo downpipe will improve turbo spooling, hence will gain more horsepower, better torque and reducing turbo lag.

Here is the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe made for the Mercedes Benz CLA250 (model code C117) and installed.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is made with larger bore grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC manchined stainless steel flanges for direct bolt-on application.


The SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe is designed for direct bolt-on and no further mod is required during the installation. Pictures below showed how the downpipe is bolted onto the turbo outlet of the Mercedes Benz CLA250's M270 turbo's outlet. 






The stainless steel flanges are either Laser cut and CNC machined for direct bolt-on application to the Mercedes Benz CLA 250's turbo outlet as shown in the picture below and all sensors are to be plugged back in position.



For ease of installation, the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is made up of two sections and they are connected with the exhaust clamp as shown in the picture below.
