Ford Ranger T6 2.2D Downpipe

SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop has done the development and testing of the Ford Ranger 2.2D (T6) Turbo Downpipe and it is ready for mass production.


The Duratorq 2.2 TDCi turbo diesel engine on the Ford Ranger 2013 is claimed to be able to produce 150PS and 38.24 Kg-M of torque. Let's see what we get on wheels


The SuperCircuit made downpipe for the Ford Ranger 2.2D is welded using TIG technique on the 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel piping. It is both durable and high performance.

The SuperCircuit downpipe has larger bore, straighter piping to promote better exhaust flow efficiency, hence better low end torque, smoother power curve and lower EGT


Flanges are carefully fabricated. Brackets and hooks are placed at the OEM original location to ensure the exhaust system or the vehicle body is not subjected to stress causing premature failure.


Dyno tested to be able to provice significantly improvement at the low end torque and horse power by as much as 30PS and 10 Kg-M torqe at as low as 2000RPM.

Subaru Impreza STI 2.5 A/T Full Exhaust System Customization

Following the 2.5L A/T Subaru Impreza STI (GE/GH) Hatchback that we did early of this month. Here is another similar Subaru Impreza STI 2.5L A/T Hatchback at SuperCirciut Exhaust Pro Shop for the full exhaust customization.

This time, we use another rear muffler design and bring it for a dyno run, to try out the horse power gain after the exhaust is done.

To access to the turbo downpipe, first we have to remove the top-mount intercooler of the EJ257 Boxer Engine below.




A closer look at the turbo and the stock downpipe.

View from the underneath, you can see the turbo outlet after the stock downpipe is removed. 

Factory stock downpipe with catalytic converters Vs. Supercircuit 3.0" cat deleted downpipe.


Centre section is made with grade 304 stainless steel CNC mandrel bent 3.0" piping with a resonator.

Rear muffler is a twin transversely positioned 2.5" straight flow stainless steel muffler, matched with 4pcs titanium-effect stainless steel tailpipe. 

The dyno results is very satisfying for a factory stock Subaru Impreza STI 2.5 A/T with just changing the full exhaust system from SuperCircuit.

Subaru Impreza STI 2.5 A/T Full Exhaust System Customization

Subaru Impreza (GE/GH) Hatchback Auto Transmission with 2.5L code name EJ257 boxer engine at SuperCirciut Exhaust Pro Shop for the full exhaust customization.



Firstly, we start with the Subaru Impreza turbo downpipe. It is made with a 3.0" stainless steel CNC mandrel bent piping.

Then hand welded with TIG/Argon.

Secondly, customization of the centre section also with 3.0" stainless steel mandrel bent piping. The extra canister is used to do the sound damping job, so you don't get the annoying drone noise while travelling on the highway. 


The Subaru Impreza quad rear exhaust tailpipes and the custom made muffler box is also made grade 304 stainless steel, then hand welded by our master craftsmen here at SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop.
