You might have seen the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe made for the Honda Civic FK8 Type-R in our Blog here, and now it is the sibling, Honda Civic FK2 Type-R, with the downpipe specially developed by SUPERCIRCUIT.
The Honda Civic FK2R is powered by the K20C1 turbo charged engine as shown in the picture below.
Having the same engine like the Honda Civic FK8R but with a different chassis, the Honda Civic FK2R downpipe is also different and we have to develop and fabricate a new one it.
The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is installed to the Honda Civic FK2R as shown in the pictures below.
Designed for direct bolt-on application, the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is made of grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined flanges for optimum exhaust flow efficiency, hence higher torque and horsepower can be achieved with less turbo lag for the Honda Civic FK2R.
The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is fully compatible with the factory stock turbo and the rest of the factory stock cat-back exhaust system of the Honda Civic FK2R, no cut or weld is required during the installation.
