SUPERCIRCUIT has the downpipe developed for the Toyota Hilux REVO 2.8D (1GD-FTV), to improve exhaust flow efficiency, promote better turbo spooling and better low-end torque and horsepower.
The original downpipe is at the left side of the Toyota Hilux REVO 1GD-FTV 2.8D engine as indicated in the picture below.
The factory stock original downpipe can be removed from the Toyota Hilux REVO 2.8D engine fairly easily as it is connected to the turbo outlet with an exhaust clamp and two bolts to the rest of the cat-back exhaust system as shown in the picture below.
The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is made of grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges, which promotes better exhaust flow and faster turbo spooling, hence better low-end torque and lesser turbo lag.
The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is designed for direct bolt-on application. At the front, it is connected to the turbo outlet via the original exhaust clamp, and at the rear it is bolted onto the Toyota Hilux REVO 2.8D factory stock original cat-back exhaust system with the original spring bolts.
At the other end of the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe, it is secured to the rest of the Toyota Hilux REVO 2.8D's cat-back exhaust system via two spring bolts as shown in the picture below. Just straight bolt-on, no cut or weld is required during the installation.
