Peugeot 308 Catless Downpipe

Yet another SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe developed for the 1.6L Prince Turbo engine is installed. It is the Peugeot 308 (T7) below.

The below is the BMW/ PSA Peugeot Citroën joint developed in-line 4 cylinder turbo-charged Prince engine on the Peugeot 308.

The below picture shows how the turbo outlet of the Peugeot 308 (T7) looks like after the factory stock original downpipe is removed.

This are the downpipes of the Peugeot 308 (T7), front left, the factory stock orginal, the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe & the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe wrapped in thermal wrap.

The SUPERCIRCIUT catless downpipe developed for the Peugeot 308 (T7) 1.6L Prince Engine is made of grade 304 stainless steel mandrel bent pipes and are fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges for direct bolt-on application.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Peugeot 308 catless downpipe comes with either a pre-built O2 sensor defouler or without, for ecu tuning/ remapping or direct decat replacement purposes.

Peugeot 308T Downpipe

Another Peugeot 308 (T7, 2008-2013) installed the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe for better torque and performance.

In the below picture, the factory stock Peugeot 308T turbo downpipe vs. the SUPERCIRCUIT catless one on the right of the picture. The catless downpipe provides larger and less restrictive exhaust flow, it makes the turbo spool faster and hence better performance. It is also good for ECU tuning or ECU reflashing needs.

Once the heat shield and the factory stock downpipe is removed, the turbo outlet can be seen clearly (SEE BELOW).

SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe is installed. The installation of the SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe on the Peugeot 308T is just straight bolt-on, no further modification is required. 

The stock original heat shield can be put back in position even after the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe is installed. It is neat and tidy at the engine bay.

At the other end of the SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe, it connects to the rest of the exhaust system via the exhaust clamp (reuse the factory original one). This downpipe is 100% compatible with the stock original Peugeot 308T catback exhaust system.

Peugeot 308 1.6 THP Turbo Downpipe

The SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe developed for the 1.6L Prince Turbo engine is installed to Peugeot 308 (T7) below.

The BMW/ PSA Peugeot Citroën joint developed in-line 4 cylinder turbo-charged Prince engine on the Peugeot 308 Turbo (SEE BELOW). 

The factory stock downpipe is just under the heat shield. Removing the factory stock downpipe is quite straight forward. 

The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless downpipe vs. the factory stock Peugeot 308 THP downpipe which has a big catalytic converter.

The SUPERCIRCUIT  catless downpipe is made of grade 304 stainless steel welded on laser cut stainless steel flanges for perfect fitting.

The SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe is made compatible with the factory stock exhaust system of the Peugeot 308, just bolt-on straight to the turbo outlet and clamp on the factory catback exhaust system at the bottom (SEE BELOW).

  

The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless downpipe comes with a pre-built O2 sensor defouler, so no CEL issue after decat. The original heat shield is reinstalled for a neat and tidy engine bay.

Peugeot 308T (T7) Downpipe

The Peugeot 308T (T7, 2008-2013) Downpipe is made and installed by SUPERCIRCUIT Exhaust Pro Shop to ensure everything is in order and no CEL or P0420 fault code issue after installing the downpipe.

This is the Peugeot turbo charged in-line 4 cylinder 1.6 (EP6DT) Prince petrol mill on the Peugeot 308T producing roughly 148hp and 240Nm of torque as claimed by the manufacturer. In order to get better figures and performance, the Peogeot 308T stock downpipe is removed from the turbo outlet (SEE BELOW) and replaced with a catless one from SUPERCIRCUIT.

Comparison between the stock downpipe of the Peugeot 308T and the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe. The catless downpipe is less restrictive, promotes better exhaust flow and hence higher output from the turbo.

The SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe made for the Peugeot 308T is designed for direct bolt-on, no cut or weld is required during the installation.

It connects to the factory stock catback exhaust system without fuss. Just plug 'n play.
