Shown below, the factory stock exhaust system of the Renault Clio IV RS. The stock downpipe comes with a big catalytic converter.

The SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe made for the Renault Clio IV RS is catless and has larger bore to promote better exhaust flow and less restriction, hence higher horsepower and torque is achieved.

The SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe is made of grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and full TIG/Argon welded. It is not only has larger bore and promote better exhaust flow, it is weight saving too!

All are fabricated and installed in-house here at SUPERCIRCUIT Exhaust Pro Shop to ensure perfect fit. The downpipe is clamped to the rest of the stock exhaust system without having any further modification, just direct bolt-on.

Renault Clio R.S. 200 EDC Downpipe

This is a project is to develop a catless turbo downpipe for the Renault Clio R.S. 200 EDC, and at the same time check how the effect of the stock catalytic converters on the output of the engine.

The prototype catless downpipe made for the Renault Clio RS 200 EDC show below. There are two catalytic converters on the factory stock downpipe, we removed them all and replaced with 2.5" mandrel bent pipes!

The downpipe is designed to be able to bolt-on to the stock exhaust system straight away, no cut and weld is required.

Upon successful tested and dynoed, the mass production version will be made of polished mandrel bent 304 stainless steel pipes, all stainless steel flanges and full TIG/Argon welded.
