Subaru XV EL Header

The SUPERCIRCUIT Equal-Length (EL) Exhaust Header is designed and manufactured specially for the 1st generation Subaru XV's FB20B engine, to allow better exhaust flow pattern and smoother power/torque curve along the whole RPM range.

As shown in the picture below, the SUPERCIRCUIT EL Header in full stainless steel VS. the Subaru XV1 stock original exhaust header which comes with a huge catalytic converter.

The SUPERCIRCUIT EL Exhaust Header is fabricated with grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges for direct bolt-on application to the 1st gen. Subaru XV.

The SUPERCIRCUIT EL Headers made for the 1st generation Subaru XV is installed to the FB20B boxer engine as shown in the picture below. The length of the primary and secondary pipes are tuned for a smoother exhaust flow pattern for the Subaru XV1's FB20B boxer engine.

Subaru XV EL Headers

We have supplied and installed yet another SUPERCIRCUIT EL (equal-length) Headers to the 1st gen. Subaru XV (a.k.a. XV1) here at the SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop.

In the below picture, the exhaust outlet ports of the Subaru XV1 after the factory stock original headers are removed from the FB20B engine.

The SUPERCIRCUIT EL Exhaust Header is fabricated with grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges for direct bolt-on application to the Subaru XV1.

The equal-length SUPERCIRCUIT Headers made for the Subaru XV1 is installed to the FB20B boxer engine as shown in the pictures below.

 
This EL exhaust headers are designed for direct bolt-on application.  Just a direct swap with the Subaru XV1's factory stock header, no further mod is required during the installation.

Subaru XV EL Headers

We have supplied and installed the SUPERCIRCUIT EL Headers to yet another 1st gen. Subaru XV here at the SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop.

In the pictures below, the Subaru XV/ Crosstrek exhaust header vs. the SUPERCIRCUIT catless header. The SUPERCIRCUIT header is made with grade 304 stainless steel mandrel bent pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges for long lasting performance and optimized exhaust flow efficiency.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Exhaust Headers is made for straight bolt-on to the FB20 engine and is fully compatible with the rest of the Subaru XV cat-back exhaust system as shown in the pictures below. No further modification is required during the installation.

Subaru XV Exhaust Headers + Cat Pipe

Here is yet another set of SUPERCIRCUIT Equal Length Headers and Cat Pipe supplied and installed to the 1st generation Subaru XV here at our installation bays.

The EL (equal-length) exhaust headers are made of grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel and is fully TIG/Argon welded to optimize exhaust flow and durability.

The secondary catalytic converter on the Subaru XV is replaced with the SUPERCIRCUIT Cat Pipe which is made of larger bore mandrel bent stainless steel pipes.

Both the SUPERCIRCUIT Headers and Cat Pipe is designed for direct bolt-on application and is fully compatible with the Subaru XV factory stock original exhaust system as shown in the picture below, no mod or cut is required during the installation.

Both the EL (equal-length) and UEL (un-equal-length) Headers developed for the 1st gen. Subaru XV are available from SUPERCIRCUIT.

Subaru XV Headers/ Extractors

This is yet another SUPERCIRCUIT exhaust headers/ extractor installed to the Subaru XV/ Crosstrek here at the SUPERCIRCUIT EXHAUST PRO SHOP's installation bays. We have shown the dyno results of this header previously, this time round we would like to cover more about the installation and also the metal gaskets that go with it.

The exhaust headers of the Subaru XV/ Crosstrek can be accessed after removing all the under carriage diffusers. In the picture below shows how the factory stock exhaust headers looks like. 

The picture below shows how the exhaust outlet ports of the Subaru XV's FB20 flat-four engine looks like after the factory stock headers are removed.

The Subaru XV/ Crosstrek exhaust header vs. the SUPERCIRCUIT catless header. The SUPERCIRCUIT header is made with grade 304 stainless steel mandrel bent pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges. 

This are the original metal gaskets from the Subaru XV/ Crosstrek. It is to be reused during the installation of the SUPERCIRCUIT header.

At the other end of the header, where it is connected to the rest of the catback exhaust system of the Subaru XV/ Crosstrek, is another original triangular metal gasket supplied along as factory stock standard (see below picture). This triangular gasket is also to be reused later during the installation of the SUPERCIRCUIT header.

Below are the closed-up pictures of the SUPERCIRCUIT Subaru XV/ Crosstrek header flanges. Note the factory stock metal gaskets are inserted between the flanges and the engine block and 'exhaust cement' is applied extensively to provide air-tight sealant when the bolts are tightened. 

In the below picture, the triangular metal gasket is sandwiched between the SUPERCIRCUIT stainless steel flange and the mild steel flange of the factory stock Subaru XV catback exhaust system. 

One crucial part of the SUPERCIRCUIT header made for the Subaru XV/ Crosstrek is the built-in O2 sensor defouler shown in the picture below. The O2 sensor defouler helps to prevent the CEL to pops up due to P0420 fault code after the stock catalytic converter is removed.

Subaru XV Headers

Yet another Subaru XV installed the SUPERCIRCUIT Exhaust Headers for better engine performance and enhance the driving pleasure of this already nice to drive 2.0L flat-four boxer FB20 engine.

Comparing the SUPERCIRCUIT exhaust headers (BELOW LEFT) and the factory stock one from Subaru XV (BELOW RIGHT). The catless SUPERCIRCUIT exhaust headers is made with larger bore grade 304 stainless steel mandrel bent pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges for perfect fitment and optimum exhaust flow efficiency.

Most importantly, the SUPERCIRCUIT headers is with dyno proven performance. So you can install it with confidence.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Headers is made to straight bolt-on to the FB20 engine and is 100% compatible with the rest of the Subaru XV catback exhaust system (SEE BELOW PICTURES).

Since the SUPERCIRCUIT Headers is made catless, we have built-in an O2 sensor defouler  (SEE BELOW PICTURE) to the post catalytic sensor. No CEL issue here.
