VW Golf 7 GTI Downpipe

Yet another VW Golf Mk7 GTI installed the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe at SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop, for unrestricted exhaust flow and for tuning/ ecu remapping purposes.

The factory stock VW Golf Mk7 GTI turbo downpipe is just behind the engine, near the firewall (as indicated in the picture below).

The downpipe can be removed fairly easily as it is clamped onto the turbo outlet with a metal clamp.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is made with grade 304 mandrel bent 3.0" stainless steel pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined flange vs. the VW Golf 7 GTI's factory stock original downpipe which has a smaller pipe size and with a huge catalytic converter.

Further more, the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is designed for direct swap, it is just clamped onto the turbo outlet of the Mk7 Golf GTI as shown in the pictures below.

View from the bottom of the engine (picture below), the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is clamped onto the turbo outlet of the Mk7 Golf GTI, no further modification is required during the installation.

At the other end of the downpipe, it is slotted onto the VW Golf7 GTI factory stock cat-back exhaust system with the original metal clamp, no mod is required during the whole installation processes.

Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI Downpipe

The SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe is installed to the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI below.

The heart of the VW Golf 7 GTI is a 2.0L turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine (TSI) with 226 HP and 350Nm of torque as claimed by the manufacturer. In order to push the performance further and make the turbo spool faster, a high efficiency turbo downpipe is required.

Here comes the catless 3.0" high flow downpipe in stainless steel by SUPERCIRCUIT! Comparing with the factory stock standard, the large bore SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe promotes better exhaust flow with less restriction, hence the turbo spools earlier and faster. 

The SUPERCIRCUIT VW Golf 7 GTI downpipe is made with grade 304 stainless steel CNC mandrel bent pipes and fully TIG/Argon welded for longer lasting performance. It is designed to be able to bolt-on straight, no cut and welding is required.

The downpipe is directly clamp-on to the turbo outlet (SEE ABOVE) and is compatible with the factory stock catback exhaust system (SEE BELOW). Just plug 'n play.

VW Golf 7 GTI Downpipe

SUPERCIRCUIT has produced a 3.0" catless downpipe for the VW Golf Mk 7 GTI from grade 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and full TIG/Argon welded.

The VW Golf  Mk7 GTI turbo is just behind the engine, near the firewall. It can be located easily and the downpipe is secured to the turbo with a metal clamp (SEE BELOW). 

This is how the VW Golf Mk7 GTI undercarriage looks like after the stock original downpipe is removed.

The metal clamp (SHOWN BELOW) is to be reused to secure the SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe back into position at the turbo outlet.

At the other end of the downpipe is the factory stock catback exhaust system (SEE BELOW). The SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe is 100% compatible with the stock original exhaust system. Just clamp it with the factory original clamps at the turbo side and the catback side. No modification is required.

The SUPERCIRUCUIT catless downpipe for the Volkswagen Golf 7 GTI is designed to be able to straight bolt-on and 100% compatible with the turbo and the rest of the exhaust system. The CEL (check engine light) issue can be countered with a pre built-in O2 sensor defouler (included) with the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe.
