Volkswagen Golf 6 R Downpipe

The catless downpipe is known for its effectiveness on the modern days turbo charged car and is especially ideal for ecu remapping or tuning.

Here is yet another Mk6 VW Golf R installed the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe for better and unrestricted exhaust flow and match with the Stage II turning!

Compared with the VW Golf 6 R's factory stock original downpipe, without the two huge catalytic converters the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is a lot less restrictive. Hence allowing the turbo to spool faster and lesser turbo lag.

The picture below shows how the turbo outlet of the VW Golf 6 R's 1,984cc (engine code CDLF/CDLC) looks like, after the factory stock original downpipe is removed.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is designed for direct bolt-on application, the flange is machined from stainless steel for extra durability and for direct bolt onto the turbo outlet of the VW Golf6 R as shown in the picture below.

As for the bottom end of the SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe, it is a slip-joint which is fully compatible with the VW Golf 6 R's original cat-back exhaust system and fastened by the original exhaust clamp as shown in the pictures below.

This catless downpipe promotes better exhaust flow and is ideal for ecu remapping/ tuning needs.

VW Golf 7 R Downpipe

In the below picture, the undercarriage of the VW Golf7 R with the factory stock original downpipe. 

In order to replace the downpipe, the VW Golf 7 R factory stock downpipe, heat shield and propeller shaft all has to be removed from the car as shown in the pictures below.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is made with grade 304 mandrel bent 3.0" stainless steel pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined flange vs. the VW Golf 7 R factory stock original downpipe which has a smaller pipe size and with a huge catalytic converter. 

The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is installed to the VW Golf 7 R and the heat shield and propeller shaft is back in place as shown in the pictures below.

The SUPERCIRCUIT Downpipe is fully compatible with the factory stock original catback exhaust system or any plug 'n play catback exhaust system in the market. Just a simple slip-on process to connect.

At the front, the SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe is just clamp onto the turbo outlet of the Mk7 Golf R as shown below.

VW Golf R Catless Downpipe

The SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe developed for the 271hp (267hp) VW Golf Mk6 R 2.0TFSI K04 turbo. It is made of grade 304 CNC mandrel bent stainless steel pipes, laser cut stainless steel flange and full TIG/Argon welded.  

It is designed to be able to bolt-on straight to the VW Golf 6 R, just plug 'n play!

At the front, the laser cut stainless steel flange is mounted to the K04 turbo outlet on the VW Golf 6 R. Just bolt-on straight, no mod or weld is required.

At the rear, the SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe is installed in position with the factory clamps and it is compatible with the factory stock catback exhaust system.

You can expect an extra 20hp on wheels with the SUPERCIRCUIT 3.0" catless downpipe. It is dyno proven!

VW Golf R Downpipe

SuperCircuit catless 3.0" stainless steel downpipe for the VW Golf R installed at the SuperCircuit Exhaust Pro Shop, Sunway.

This catless downpipe is dyno proven to be able to gain +20ps and +50Nm of torque alone, without any further tuning.
