We have installed yet another SUPERCIRCUIT Catless Downpipe to the 3rd generation BMW Mini Cooper S (F55) equipped with the turbo charged engine B48 engine.
In the picture below, the SUPERCIRCUIT catless downpipe vs. the factory stock original Mini Cooper S (F55) downpipe which has a huge catalytic converter.
The SUPERCIRCUIT downpipe is made with larger bore stainless steel mandrel bent pipes and is fully TIG/Argon welded on CNC machined stainless steel flanges, for direct bolt-on application.
The downpipe is simply clamped onto the turbo outlet of the Mini Cooper S (F55), via the original exhaust clamp, as shown in the pictures below.
At the other end of the downpipe, it is connected and fully compatible with the Mini Cooper S (F55) original cat-back exhaust system via a slip-joint and secured with the factory original exhaust clamp, no mod or weld is required during the installation.
This catless downpipe promotes better exhaust flow, hence faster turbo spooling and higher torque and horsepower can be achieved. It is ideal for ecu remapping/ tuning needs.
